The Kansas City Association of Rocketry was established in 1998 by several active NAR members to promote Link to NAR web page sport and competition model rocketry in the city. The club continues to grow and provide ten organized launches each year, some with high power waivers, and two with NAR sanctioned competition events. We also strive to serve our community by holding demonstration launches for schools, displaying our models at the library, assisting with the Team America Rocketry Challenge, and other youth activities. We are proud to be a chartered section of the National Association of Rocketry.
